I want to say thank you to all those who have SACRIFICED for the freedom that I enjoy and often take for granted. I have never known what it is like to live without the freedoms we enjoy as Americans. Mary Anne and I have been able to raise our family in the perimeters of freedom. We have been able to take them to church and teach them the ways of God without ever giving it a second thought. SACRIFICE is the price. SACRIFICE is a word that holds so much within it. SACRIFICE is leaving behind a mom and dad who have poured their life into you for 18+ years. SACRIFICE is leaving behind a wife or husband that loves you more than anyone in the world. SACRIFICE is leaving behind your own children to go and fight for the children of people you do not even know. On this day we pay tribute to those who have SACRIFICED and did not come home to a mom, a dad, a husband, a wife, a son or a daughter. Let us never take the SACRIFICE of others for granted.
